Founded by Matisse Whitfield, Studio Muse was built on the belief that the best interiors both solve problems and express personality.

That means looking beyond appearance alone to create deliberate designs that consider the flow of a space and the elements that support the people within it.

Our work is guided by balance. Between form and function, for finished spaces that are as practical as they are beautiful. Between order and openness, for interiors that are resolved without rigidity. And between aesthetic simplicity and human experience, where the design leads, yet leaves room for change and growth.

We’re interested in design that feels contemporary now, but won’t date with the passing of seasons. Trends can tell us something about where the industry is moving, but they never replace the realities of how the building needs to function or the longevity of the decisions being made.

Studio Muse remains intentionally boutique, allowing us to stay closely involved in every project. For larger or more complex briefs, we scale our project team around your requirements, working with our trusted industry partners and specialist consultants to maintain the integrity of the design direction throughout.
